Security Agencies in Enugu State says that the just concluded Easter holiday recorded the lowest crime rate in recent times.
The Sector Commander Federal Road Safety Corps, Enugu State Command, Mr. Edward Zamber said that no accident was recorded in the State during the celebration.
This, Mr. Zamber attributed to the cooperation of motorists when he commended for safe driving.
The Sector Commander said the level of compliance with the installation of speed limiting device in commercial vehicles had been impressive.
Similarly, the Police Relation Officer, Enugu State Command, Mr. Ebere Amanzu, stated that the period recorded zero crime as there was no negative report in any part of the State.
Likewise, the Public Relations Officer, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Enugu State, Mr. Denny Iwuchukwu, said optimum peace was recorded in the State during the holiday as Civil Defence Personnel were strategically deployed to parts of the State to ensure harmony during Easter.
Some of the residents of the State also commended the security agencies for ensuring hitch free celebration.
